A public meeting Re. Abbeyleix, Durrow, Cullohill, Johnstown Bus
will be held on Thursday night next July 5th in Castle Arms Hotel @ 8.30pm.
Recent meetings with Bus Eireann and the N.T.A. will be reported on
along with the future of the Bus service in the area. Public reps. will attend.
Due to Laois County Senior Hurling Semi Finals on Sunday 16th September, 
it has been decided to re schedule the annal Cycle/Canoe Duathlon until a later date.

Laois Walks Festival will commence on Sunday 1st July to Sunday 29th July. 
There are 23 Walks at 21 Locations featuring Woodland, Mountain, Bog, Canal & Road.
